Readers! According to a report, it is concluded that every one in six women are trying to lose their weight. In case you are one of those woman and if you are not able to lose weight even after trying so much then you have to figure out what is causing such hindrance. 

  1. 1.      Growth: You need to find out whether you were grown up by having breastmilk or other formula milks. Children who are given breastmilk in their early years are not at risk of  gaining weight in their life. 

 

  1. 2.      Diet: Research has concluded that fat people often complain that they do not consume a-lot of food. They eat as much as other people do but they still gain more weight than them. A British doctor has suggested such people to loyally write down and record whatever they eat throughout the week. After that they should evaluate their own food diary. They will be surprised to see the quantities of food that they have been consuming. Obese people often consume upto 2500 kcal per day. If they are able to reduce their caloric intake, they will also be able to reduce their weight gradually. 

 

  1. 3.      Insufficient sleep: There is a possibility that you might not be able to reduce your weight because you stay tired very often. People who are lethargic are more prone to avoid exercise. They have less self control and so they are not able to stop themselves from the consumption foods that tend to increase weight.

 

  1. 4.      Less Muscular Body: The more a person has a muscular body, the higher their metabolic rate is. Muscles help to burn 20 to 32 percent more calories than fat. Strength is needed for the development of muscles. Help can also be taken from exercising machinery. This can also be done at home or at a gym.

 

  1. 5.      Improper Functioning Of Thyroid: Thyroid gland secretes hormone thyroxin that effects the mechanisms of our body. At times the hormone over activates while sometimes its activity is undermined. Both of the situations can be problematic of the body, however, the decrease in thyroid activity becomes the major cause of obesity. This can also lead to increase in tiredness experienced by the person, the skin becomes very dry and heart rate decreases too.

 

  1. 6.      Genetic Factors: Sometimes obesity runs in family or in other words is inherited. Commonly there are three types of body shapes that are present. Tall and smart muscular and fat. If we try and opt diet and exercises according to our respective body shape and sizes, obesity can be controlled to a great extent.

 

  1. 7.      Breakfast: It is often noticed that people who consume their breakfast regularly are less at risk to obesity. Experts advice people to consume fresh fruits, yogurt, toast and porridge etc as their breakfast. Fatty foods should be kept to minimal.

These women are also seen to be suffering from the problems of obesity and are not able to lose their weight. This syndrome can be identified by increased facial hair, tiredness and menstruation related problems. Such women also complain about chest pain and pimples.

 

  1. 9.      Stress About Being Overweight: People who stress more about being overweight do not tend to lose their weight quickly. Often their motivation to lose weight falls as a result of stressing so much about their increased weight. Body mechanisms that are involved in reducing body weight get effect as stress increases.

 

  1. 10.  Malnourished Diet: One the major reason off not being able to lose weight is malnourished diet. Such diet is not able to provide the body with sufficient vitamins and other nutrients. As more malnourished food is consumed, it gets deposited in the body as fat and then eventually the person becomes more tired and inactive. Diets that help to provide sufficient quantities of nutrients such as Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6, Vitamin C, Iron, Zinc, Chromium, Co enzyme and Co enzyme Q10 are helpful to weight reduction.
